E8: The Heart of Hackney, was an exhibition at Transition Gallery (2007) of work by eight contemporary artists, forming responses to the postcode of the gallery.

We approached the show by interviewing the area’s senior residents about their experiences of housing over the last 60 years. In response to these conversations we made work about housing density in E8 and the flight out to suburban areas and new towns.
